Through the Forest Farm is a Market Garden located in Clarksville, MD. We grow approximately 1/2 acre of fruits, vegetables and cut flowers and specialize in a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program. Our 2026 Summer CSA registration is now open and begins on May 23, 2026!

Joining now guarantees your place in the CSA and helps us with planning and buying supplies like seeds, potting mix, and compost. We appreciate your support and hope you can join us for another great season of local, organically grown produce. CSA pickup week 2. A full fridge of greens is a happy sight 🥬😄. Planting potatoes got a little more efficient and fun this year. And the shade cloth already on the high tunnel for greens and seedlings but just wait a few days .. the swing from 90’s to 20’s is normal, right?!

Today was the first CSA pickup of 2026! Excited that fresh veggies are finally here. Lots of Spring green green greens! And check out our new pick up area - we are very proud of it!🥬🌿🌼

The carrots are a lot of work to get started in the heat of the summer but oh so worth it they sweeten up nicely after a little frost and call me farmer nerd but that fresh carrot fragrance oh my!

Garlic is in! Hoping for one of our best garlic crops yet in 2🧄26!

We have a sign! It’s been months in the making but it’s finally up and we are pleased with how this handmade sign turned out. Thanks to all who helped!!

Had a busy week from a golden hour photo shoot with stunning produce and “gold” heirloom tomatoes to packing CSA boxes, visiting the county fair seeing @hoco_fresh, providing produce for the farm to fork face off and @therovingradish meal kids, and being featured in a local magazine next to @threedozendaisies. Don’t forget to check out the tractor pull on your way out! #summeronthefarm
